Union Wages and Benefits
Local 568 negotiates strong wages and benefits through our collective bargaining agreements, ensuring our members are compensated fairly for their skill, training, and craftsmanship. Our agreements establish competitive journeyman wage rates, clearly defined overtime provisions, and employer-funded contributions toward comprehensive health and retirement benefits.
Local 568’s commitment to our members goes beyond wages and benefits. Members have access to training equipment, continuing education, advanced skills training, and industry certifications at no additional cost—helping them develop their skills and stay current with the demands of the industry.
Health & Welfare
The Texas Pipe Trades Health and Welfare Plan provides eligible members and their families with comprehensive healthcare coverage, including hospital and surgical care, prescription medications, outpatient services, and other essential medical benefits.
Coverage also includes dental and vision benefits for eligible members and their families. Initial eligibility begins after 580 hours of covered employment, with continued coverage based on completing at least 140 hours of covered work per month.
National Pension Plan
Local 568 members earn a defined benefit pension that provides monthly retirement income for life. Members become vested after five years of credited service, helping provide long-term financial security throughout retirement.
Local 568 members have access to two employer-funded retirement benefits designed to help build long-term financial security for themselves and their families.
Retirement Security
Local Annuity Plan
